About Our Practice
-
Longevita Medical Institute is a physician-led membership practice focused on longevity, wellness, and regenerative medicine. Instead of treating one problem at a time, we look at your whole body and how it is working. Your own doctor builds one clear plan just for you and adjusts it as your numbers change.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the same building blocks that make up proteins. Your body makes hundreds of them naturally, and they act as signals that tell cells what to do, influencing metabolism, appetite, sleep, immune response, and tissue repair. In clinical practice, a specific peptide may be prescribed to support a targeted function. Peptides are prescription medications, some are FDA-approved, while others are not. Your physician will review whether a peptide is appropriate for you, along with the evidence, the risks and the monitoring involved.
-
Stem cells are unspecialized cells that can renew themselves and mature into other types of cells. They also release signaling molecules, such as growth factors, that researchers are studying for their effects on surrounding tissue. The cells used clinically are usually mesenchymal stem cells, taken either from your own tissue or from screened, donated perinatal tissue such as umbilical cord. In Florida, stem cell therapy is permitted by state law for orthopedic, wound care and pain management indications. Most applications are not FDA-approved, and your physician will explain what is known, what is still being studied and what to realistically expect before you decide.
-
Autologous means the cells come from your own body, most often from bone marrow, fat or blood. Because the material is yours, there is no risk of immune rejection, but it requires a harvesting procedure, and the number and vitality of your own cells naturally decline with age and illness.
Allogeneic means the cells come from a screened, consented donor, most often perinatal tissue such as umbilical cord donated after a healthy full-term delivery. There is no harvest procedure, the cells are young and can be supplied in a consistent dose, and mesenchymal stem cells carry few of the surface markers that trigger rejection. Donor tissue is screened and tested before release. Which option is right for you depends on your age, your health and what is being treated.
-
Our stem cell products are supplied by ZEO ScientifiX, a South Florida research and manufacturing company. Their perinatal products come from umbilical cord tissue that is ethically donated with consent after healthy, full-term deliveries and collected within hours of birth. Donated tissue is screened and documented, then processed and cryopreserved in ZEO’s own FDA-registered, cGMP-compliant facility, which includes ISO Class 7 cleanroom space and in-house microbiology and sterility testing. FDA-registered means the facility is listed with and subject to inspection by the FDA; it is not the same as FDA approval of the product itself. We do not purchase biologics from unverified distributors.
-
Every lot we use arrives with documentation. Each stem cell lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis confirming sterility, product identity and post-thaw viability. Sterility and microbiology testing are performed in the manufacturer’s in-house laboratory. Each lot carries a lot number that traces back to the donation and manufacturing record, and donor eligibility and screening documentation, along with a certificate of origin, are available on request. If you would like to review the paperwork for the specific lot used in your treatment, just ask and we will provide it.
-
No. The stem cell therapies we offer are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Our physicians are licensed in Florida and offer these therapies under Florida Senate Bill 1768, which took effect July 1, 2025. The law allows a Florida physician to use stem cell therapies that are not FDA approved for orthopedics, wound care or pain management and within the physician’s scope of practice.
Florida states the stem cells must be retrieved, manufactured and stored at an FDA-registered, accredited facility that follows current good manufacturing practices. Cells derived from a fetus or embryo after an abortion are prohibited.
Florida law permits these therapies; it does not make them FDA approved.
THIS NOTICE MUST BE PROVIDED TO YOU UNDER FLORIDA LAW. This physician performs one or more stem cell therapies that have not yet been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration. You are encouraged to consult with your primary care provider before undergoing any stem cell therapy.

Bioidentical hormones have the same molecular structure as the hormones your body makes, such as estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA and thyroid hormone. They are usually synthesized in a laboratory from plant sources. The word bioidentical describes the structure of the molecule; it is not by itself a claim of greater safety. Some bioidentical hormones are FDA-approved products, while others are prepared by compounding pharmacies and are not FDA-approved. We base hormone therapy on your symptoms and laboratory testing, use the lowest effective dose, and monitor you with follow-up labs. Hormone therapy is not appropriate for everyone, and we will review your personal risks and history with you first.

IV nutrient therapy, also called IV micronutrient or IV vitamin therapy, delivers vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants directly into a vein. Common ingredients include B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium, zinc, glutathione and NAD+. Because the infusion bypasses the digestive tract, it can reach blood levels that are difficult to achieve by mouth, which is useful when absorption is impaired or a documented deficiency needs correcting. This is not the same as parenteral nutrition, which replaces calories, protein and fat in people who cannot eat. The evidence varies by ingredient and by reason for use, so we review your history and laboratory results first and only recommend an infusion when there is a reason for it.
